The service provides free, independent and confidential advice on a range of issues including: ensuring income is maximised by checking entitlement to benefits and tax credits, assisting with benefit and Macmillan Grant application forms, resolving benefit disputes and assisting with any appeal work, providing debt advice and advising on entitlement to other support or services. Service is provided in the community (Monday to Friday) and at Ninewells Hospital Advice Centre (Monday am). Home visiting service available on request.
